Cama Beach Foundation Grants

Cama Beach Foundation, an educational nonprofit organization, makes grants to groups and individuals that meet the following criteria.

Proposed activities, projects, programs, or events must:
Occur in Camano Island State Park and/or Cama Beach State Park.
The activity, project, program, or event must further the mission of the Foundation to support Camano Island State Park and Cama Beach State Park by: offering visitors educational and interpretive programs that enhance their visit to the Parks, or providing access to those for whom cost is a barrier to visiting the park.

Maximum Grant: $1,000 per 12-month period.

Application Windows: There is no specific application “window”. Prospective grantees are invited to submit proposals at any time. Please allow up to two months for funded/not funded notification.

Disbursement of Grant Funds: Actual costs for pre-approved expenses will be refunded once receipts have been submitted to CBF’s Treasurer.

Post-Grant Submittals:
At the end of the activity or project the recipient must submit receipts and a 1-page evaluation summarizing the following:
  • the activity/project/program’s effectiveness in accomplishing its goals, 
  • the number of visitor who benefited from this activity/project/program, 
  • suggestions for making the activity/project/program more effective in the future, 
  • any other useful observations and comments.
