Snow Goose Festival at Cama
hosted by State Parks

Saturday, February 2021
Cancelled
Cama Beach State Park (all activities are down on the beach)
Activities:
  • Kids and family program, paint a mini snow goose model to celebrate snow geese, swans and migratory winter waterfowl. For all ages. Create realistic detail or use your imagination to capture the beauty of nature.
  • Learn about the noisiest of all geese. These families stick together and can be seen near our area in the winter. Meet in the historic store and historic home located on the beach.
  • View our natural history collection of more than 50 taxidermy specimens for learning detail. Included are waterfowl, snow geese and swans.
  • The open saltwater habitat of Saratoga Passage can be a good place to scan for loons, grebes, scaups, scoters, buffleheads, goldeneyes, gulls and alcids.
