‪#‎GiveBIG‬ on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, from midnight to midnight (Pacific Time). This will be The Seattle Foundation’s fifth annual GiveBIG.

The goal is to turn out thousands of individual donors to help support the 1,600 eligible Puget Sound region nonprofit organizations. The Seattle Foundation has lined up several sponsors like Seattle International Foundation, Boeing, Microsoft, Medina Foundation, and Starbuck to match your donations. Last year on GiveBIG day 64,269 individual gifts plus sponsor matching funds totaled more than $12.9 million.

To see if your favorite nonprofits are part of the GiveBig program visit the Seattle Foundation’s website at
www.seattlefoundation.org/nonprofits/giveBIG

The 1,600 nonprofits generally fall into these broad categories: basic needs, health & wellness, neighborhoods & communities, economy, arts & culture, education, environment, and global giving. GiveBIG on Tues May 5, 2015.
