There are also participating merchants in Lynnwood, Edmonds, and Seattle) Tonight, Wed, Feb 18, at 10:23 pm the low tide at Cama will be a -1.5 ft. That’s a whopping 14 foot swing in just 7 hours. Don’t try going through Deception Pass against that current unless you’ve got lots of horsepower! Wowie Zowie Batman, it was really windy at Cama early Sunday morning. The Cama weather station recorded 60 MPH gusts at 1:00 AM and 1:05 AM.
There is a LOT of water going over Snoqualmie Falls tonight. It looks as if the river has just about peaked for this storm - but sometimes the predictions are off...
To see real-time flood info for the Snoq River: http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=sew&gage=squw1. Closer to Cama, the storm seems to have missed some of the Stillaqumish River: http://water.weather.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=sew At 3:03 PM PST, it will officially be Winter. Today, Sunday, December 21, 2014, we’ll have 8 hours, 25 minutes, 24 seconds of daylight.
(Tomorrow will be 2 seconds longer and we'll be heading toward the Summer solstice on June 21, 2015 when the day will be 15 hours, 59 minutes, 20 seconds long). Several new river monitoring sites have been installed near the Oso slide. See all the local real-time graphs.
For all sites in the west, see the National Weather Service's Advance Hydrologic Prediction Service site. |
