Cama BEACH ART Fest

7/30/2016

Saturday, August 20, 2016 | 12 PM - 2 PM
Cama Beach State Park

Be creative! Have fun at this annual celebration hosted by Cama Beach Foundation.

This isn’t your typical sand castle contest. There’s no sand and no contest.

We'll use only inanimate objects found on the beach (shells, rocks, driftwood) to draw or sculpt a temporary work of art ... then at 12:49 PM when the tide turns, watch the waves slowly begin to creep back up the beach.

At 2 PM all participants will be awarded ice cream certificates and each group will be eligible for a door prize.

While you wait for the door prizes, stop by the face painter's station.

The Cama BEACH ART Festival is FREE but a Discover Pass is required for parking (purchase a 1-day pass-$10 or an annual Discover Pass-$30 at the Cama Welcome Center). For more info, contact the park at (360) 387-1550 or www.discoverpass.wa.gov.
